Give it all

Why To Give it All Every Day

Your All Every Day

In your life – some days more than others – you’ll be asked to do more than you normally would. It can be picking up an extra shift at work or running an errand for someone. Sometimes you’ll be asked to do things that you don’t necessarily enjoy since you’ll be going out of your way. It’s easy to turn doing someone a favor down because it doesn’t interest you, get nothing in return and simply because you just don’t want to. This thinking isn’t uncommon but just because it’s common; it’s not thinking God wants you to have. That thought process is the way the world thinks and we are to be in the world, not of it. That means to not think like the world, but like God! God wants you to do things that you don’t want to do for many reasons, all of them for your own good. Here are just a few reasons why.

People in Need

Sometimes someone will pray so hard for God to do something in their life. You’ve probably been there on bended knees asking God to help you out too! It could be extra help, payday stretching longer than normal and many other things. Sometimes God is able to do it by himself but He also calls upon everyday people like you to bless someone. Often times when you’re asked to do things for someone else, God sets it up. He knows you’re capable of helping whoever He has strategically placed in front of you. So, the next time someone asks you do to something or when you get that urge (a calling God places in your heart) to help someone, don’t be so quick to turn them down. Keep in mind that chances are God is counting on you to help Him out.

Improving Character

Everybody mentally grows, whether we want it or not. Some grow slowly, while others blossom in growth. It really depends on the person but putting that aside, God helps people grow spiritually and mentally. When this happens, it improves ones character. God may place a person in dire need of help and gives you the opportunity to help them and improve your character or turn them down and not improve at all. It may be hard for you to help others especially when it calls more of you than you want to give, but God not only has faith in you, He also depends to help Him out here on Earth. In the end, you have to treat others how you want to be treated. If you would want help in a time of need, then help anyone you can – pay it forward!

It Breeds Kindness

Believe it or not, when you help someone, it breeds kindness. It helps inspire the person you helped out to do the same and so on and so on. It’s a never ending cycle and that’s what we need in today’s world. No one is willing to go the extra mile to help out anyone anymore and you can begin to change that! The first step begins with you and that’s what God wants. He not only wants this, He needs this. There are so many people who are lost and just need a little push, an act of kindness to lead them back on the right path, the path of God. So the next time you’re asked to do something, remember, it’s not about you! Act selflessly and to better seek inspiration of selflessness, look no further than God and Christ Jesus!
